Below I have listed just a few of the scriptures that give us promises that are ours from God because we accepted Jesus as our savior. This is not a complete list, just a partial one that I felt led to put together. Memorizing many of these scriptures will be a big help to you in your daily battle. I quote many of them each morning as I get ready to remind myself that I am a Child of God, covered by the blood of the Lamb and wearing the Armor of God. I have listed the scripture reference and what it is about, but not the whole scripture in order that you can look them up and learn them. Remember, these are God's promises to you and He can't lie, so when you claim them it is to remind yourself and the enemy of who you are in Christ.

  • Ephesians 2:8  ~~  You were saved by Grace through Faith in Jesus.
  • 2 Corinthians 5:17  ~~  Once you get saved you are a new creation. 
  • Ephesians 6:10  ~~  Strong in the Lord, in His mighty power.
  • 2 Corinthians 5:7  ~~  You must live by faith and not by sight.
  • Colossians 1:13  ~~  You are delivered from the power of darkness.
  • Romans 8:1  ~~  You are justified, made right in God's eyes.
  • Romans 8:17  ~~  an Heir of  God, a co-heir with Christ.
  • Ephesians 1:3  ~~  blessed with every spiritual blessing.
  • 1 Peter 2:24  ~~  Healed by the stripes of Jesus.
  • Romans 12:2  ~~  Being changed into a new person.
  • Phillipians 4:13  ~~  That you can do all things through Christ.
  • Romans 8:37-39  ~~  You are more than a conqueror, and nothing can take your salvation or the promises of God away from you.
  • Isaiah 54:17  ~~  No weapon formed against you can prosper.
  • 2 Corinthians 10:3-5  ~~  Our battle is not with people but with our enemy.
  • Psalm 46:1, Psalms 91  ~~  God is with us and will help us.
  • 2 Corinthians 12:9  ~~  We don't have to make it in our own strength.
  • 1 John 4:4  ~~  The force in us (the Holy Spirit) is stronger than our enemy in the world.
  • Ephesians 6:10-13  ~~  Our battle is not with people but with the enemy.
  • Ephesians 6:14-18  ~~  The Armor of God.
  • James 4:7-8  ~~  When we resist the devil, he has to flee from us.
  • 1 Timothy 6:12  ~~  Fight the good fight of Faith.
  • Phillipians 4:6  ~~  Don't worry!
  • John 14:27  ~~  Jesus give us His peace.
  • Mark 11:22-26  ~~  Have Faith, you can cast your mountains into the sea, but we must forgive others in order to be forgiven.
  • Phillipians 4:19  ~~  God will supply our needs.
  • Luke 15:11-32  ~~  The parable of the prodigal son, shows how God reacts to us.
  • Revelations 12:11  ~~  We overcome the enemy through the word of our testimony and Blood of the Lamb (Jesus).
  • 1 John 4:18  ~~  When we are in the Love of God, we should have no fear.
  • Deuteronomy 38:1-14  ~~  When we obey God we are blessed in all that we do and everywhere we go.
  • Matthew 28:20  ~~  Jesus will never leave us or forsake us.































































I challenge you to look up all of these scriptures and learn them. Don't let the long list get you down, read them a few at a time and read them over and over until you know them. The most effective weapon you have against the enemy is the Word of God. I highly encourage you to print out the longer ones, such as the Armor of God and Blessings of God and put them up where you will see them every day.
